OUR SELLING POLICY :
Home Harmonies has a flat percentage markup on ALL its products, regardless of how well it sells. This percentage pays for an endless stream of expenses, which are considerable. It costs us quite a bit to bring you some of these items and we actually take a loss on some smaller, less expensive items. Our markup is WAY below what you will find almost anywhere. We tell you this so that you know that your getting a good deal. The markup never includes shipping. You pay EXACTLY what it costs us to ship to you. In addition, when we put an item on clearance, sell or markdown, or offer coupon promotions, you get an ADDITIONAL 10%-15% discount on the product or item. You will almost never see anything that sells at or over suggested retail price here, because we simply don't run our store like that, and we routinely ignore the manufacturers suggested retail price to bring you savings.
Home Harmonies INCLUDES shipping costs in many of our products. For those items that have a calculated shipping cost, you only pay what it costs to ship that item to you. So breath easy!
At the same time, this may appear that our prices are greater than suggested retail prices or another competitors prices, but make sure you check to see what THEIR shipping costs to you are. You may come to find that your savings with us is greater in the end because the price you see listed is the price you pay...period!
Home Harmonies has many sources for our products. We may drop ship a particular line of products, we may have purchased a wholesale lot from a manufacturer or importer, we may have purchased from businesses that are in close-out or liquidation. Sometimes we are even able to get over-stocked items. So, what this means, is that we can often provide name brand products at less than wholesale prices. If you see a name brand item, then it is likely that we were able to find this item from a supplier or liquidator that got it from a closing store.
We gladly accept multiple forms of payment to accomodate you. Our primary means of payment is through Paypal (APPLY FREE). With this service you can make cash, E-check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card payments. For your convenience, we also accept Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and Personal Checks made out to Home Harmonies, P.O.Box 29381, San Francisco, CA 94129-0381. By clicking the 'add to cart' button and processing through the Paypal website, they should give you the option to pay in this manner. If for some reason that doesn't work for you, simply email us with the product information, your billing information and address and we will invoice you via email or even snail mail if you prefer.
We are not trying to get rich quick... we genuinly love home decor and want to share our passion with as many people as we can at reasonable prices and with exceptional customer care.
OUR SHIPPING POLICY :
Because you are purchasing online, we will have to ship this item to you. Most of the time, shipping costs are reasonable, but large, bulky or heavy items can add significantly to your end costs. This is an additional premium that you pay for shopping from the comfort of your own home and avoiding the crowds and temperamental employees in brick and mortar retail stores. Most of the time you would have to pay for a brick and mortar store to deliver these types of items anyway.

You won't EVER see us tell you anywhere that shipping is FREE, FREE, FREE, like you find at some online retail stores. In almost EVERY case this is untrue. The costs are actually rolled into the pricing, they just don't tell you that directly, or if they do it is in some obscure text hidden away somewhere on their site. We tell it like it is.... it is included in the price. The difference is in the honesty of how we do business here. We hope that you see this and look with a little more pessimism next time you see an online store make this claim.
We process orders Monday through Friday and when time allows on weekends. For items we stock or have on-hand, we ship Monday through Friday only. If your order comes in too late on Friday to ship that day it will be shipped Monday instead. For items we do not stock at our location, such as regional warehouses or even directly from artisans overseas, your item may take a bit longer to process and ship. Most of our home decor items ship via USPS, UPS, DHL or FedEx. For bulky or heavy items we may use a reputable freight service provider.
Although we plan to expand our delivery locations in the future, some of our products can only be shipped to the Continental U.S. at this time. Some products may be shipped to U.S. Territories or other countries. Each product will tell you where it can be shipped and by what method.
OUR RETURN POLICY :
Online returns can often be a hassle. We here at Home Harmonies pledge to make this task as pleasant and trouble free as possible. Because we are not face to face we have to make the attempt to communicate as best as possible in order for this to happen, so please be patient as we work out the details of how to make things right again, whether it is cash back or item in kind.
* Please make your return claims within 7 days of receipt of your item/s or else we may not be able to accommodate you.
WE ONLY ACCEPT RETURNS IN THE CASE OF DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE. WE ARE SORRY, BUT WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT ELECTIVE RETURNS FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
*Please note : Many of our products are imported, custom, hand-crafted pieces of art and are not factory made or precision fabricated by mechanical devices. This often means that there are blemishes, differences between pairs and any number of small imperfections that make each and every item unique. Please understand the nature of some of these types of items and allow for a certain amount of imperfection before deciding that the item is 'broken' or 'defective'. It really does come with the territory.
Received Damaged or Broken Items :
Always make the attempt to open the package in front of the delivery person on the spot. If it is damaged, refuse receipt or file a delivery complaint right then, and contact us immediately. Failing that, or if the delivery person cannot stay because of other scheduled deliveries and you subsiquently discover your item was broken in delivery, make sure you keep ALL the orginal packaging and contact us immediately. When contacting us, please try to give YOUR NAME, the ITEMS NAME, its PRODUCT ID and the NATURE OF THE DAMAGE, including any damage to the original packaging you may have noticed.
Once we have this information, we will contact the shipping agent or original supplier and get back to you with specific instructions and course of action. Depending on the specific item you may receive cash back, or another item of the same type will be shipped to you. Fraudulant claims are handled quite simply, you get to keep the orignal item and/or you wont receive a refund or replacement and you will be looked upon with distrust in future dealings.

We provide a search tool that allows you to search our website for products and documents that may interest you. We know that your time is precious and you often don't have the time to look through our entire product offerings here at Home Harmonies. All you need to do to use the search tool is to type in what it is your looking for in the seach field of the search bar and click the button, where you will be brought to a search results page. You can then open any links that appeal to you. For further assistance, try our 'KEYWORD' search described just below....
Keyword Searching
We've gone through the trouble of assigning a 'keyword' or sometimes more than one keyword to each of our products. This is to assist you when searching for a specific product type that your interested in.
To use the list, simply select the keyword that most closely describes the item your looking for and then type it into or cut and paste it into the search field of the search bar. You will then be brought to the search results page where you can look through any of the links to products that match your search results based on the keyword you input into the search field.
